Sony Ericsson F305 Concept. How Far Will It Be From The Real Thing? Sony Ericsson F305 Concept. How Far Will It Be From The Real Thing?

With so many new phones supposedly lined up to be announced next Tuesday, what else would Sony Ericsson have that can still be groundbreaking? Some official pictures of the upcoming F305 would be great. Unfortunately there currently aren’t any official pictures, or leaked ones, though someone has been kind enough to do a concept sketch, and it’s said to represent 80% of what the actual device will look like, a gaming-focused low to mid-end slider with an FM radio and stereo speakers. If the end product is anything like this, it will be looking like a winner, by all accounts.

Sony Ericsson Alicia Leaked

There is an unknown Sony Ericsson clamshell making its way around the internet, and is apparently known as Alicia. Alicia seems to have a Walkman branding, as well as a massive set of external music controls on a huge looking dial. It also seems to have a brushed aluminum casing around the keypad that doesn’t seem to provide any tactile feedback.

There isn’t much information regarding Alicia at the moment, though there is a possibility that it may be announced on June 17th.

Sony Ericsson To Launch 8.1 Megapixel Cybershot Phone? Sony Ericsson To Launch 8.1 Megapixel Cybershot Phone?

It looks like there still is newsworthy news after the launch of the iPhone 3G. Sony Ericsson has let another juicy bit of news slip out, this time in the form of a killer slider, said to be the Cyber-shot C905, codenamed “Shiho”.

Based on the rumored specs, it’s going to have an 8.1 megapixel camera! If that wasn’t enough, it also will have both xenon and LED flashes (for still and video capture, respectively), GPS, TV out, DLNA certification and HSDPA, available in European and American flavors. If there is a downside, it’s that the screen is just QVGA resolution, but with the other features, I’m sure users will be willing to accept that.

Apparently it will be announced on the 17th June in gold, silver and black, and is slated for a Q4 release.

Sony Ericsson Tries To Release The Most Garish Phone Ever Made Sony Ericsson Tries To Release The Most Garish Phone Ever Made

It seems Sony Ericsson and MTV have been working hard together to try and create one of the ugliest phones on the planet. It might appeal to the younger generation, but either way, it’s on weird looking phone, oh and it’s also called the W760 MTV edition.

The phone itself has the same specs are the normal W760, which would include the usual 3.2 megapixel camera, Walkman 3.0, FM radio, internal GPS and 3G. The main difference is obviously the ugly colors and a free service that allows users to stream MTV music and videos, which might be a cool feature, if only it didn’t add €40 to the price of the phone, which would total up to €300 or $470.

These pictures obviously act as a teaser, making us all want it to be released as soon as possible!

Sony Ericsson Announcing New Phones On June 17th? Sony Ericsson Announcing New Phones On June 17th?

There are rumors that Sony Ericsson will be announcing some new phones on June 17th. Though there aren’t any official confirmations yet, but it seems that Sony Ericsson will be announcing 2 Symbian UIQ smartphones, which are the G702 BeiBei, and the P5 Paris.

Both phones have already been spotted on the internet, and the G702 has also passed the FCC tests, so this shouldn’t come as a big surprise to anybody. Hopefully the official statement will really come on June 17th.

More Sony Ericsson G702 Live Pictures Spotted

There have been more live pictures of the upcoming Sony Ericsson G702 (beibei) found on the internet. Some people have even posted minor reviews on the phone, and have mentioned that:

  • The scroll wheel is a little inconsistent, as users can’t seem to make sure it stops in the right selection, or if it will select something when pressed
  • It’s slightly lighter and thinner than the G700 / G900
  • The build quality is the same as the G700 or the W960
  • There is a stylus included on the side of the phone, though it’s small and of the “flat” design.

Sony Ericsson 3.5mm Audio Converter
Sony Ericsson 3.5mm Audio Converter

For those folks who aren’t happy with the normal Sony Ericsson converter for 3.5mm jacks, this may come as a Godsend.

For some reason, Sony Ericsson rarely (if ever) includes a 3.5mm jack on the phone itself, and most users will have to rely on converters to use their favorite earphones. Most of the time converters have a rather long cable, coupled with the earphones already long cable; make it a tad too long. This new converter places the 3.5mm as close to the phone as possible, eliminating the extra wires, which should be a great benefit to many Sony Ericsson users.
