LG and Verizon have both announced the LG Decoy, which is a slider handset with a very interesting Bluetooth headset included. The Bluetooth headset is hidden at the back of the phone, and is charged while in storage, thus making it conveniently ready at all times.
Other features of the Decoy include a 5-way navigational joystick, multimedia features such as Verizon’s V CAST Music and Video. The Decoy also supports the VZ Navigator GPS service, which will be a boon to many users.
The LG Decoy will be available in Verizon Wireless stores on July 16th, though there has been no mention about the pricing yet.
Verizon And LG Chocolate 3 Make Music
LG and Verizon have announced their new LG Chocolate 3, a clamshell music phone which sports a control wheel on the outside, as well as dual speakers for better music enjoyment. To make things interesting, The Chocolate 3 will have a built-in FM transmitter that allows users to stream their music though any FM radio. To compliment that, the phone comes with 1GB of internal storage space, and a microSD card slot for expansion.
Other features of this phone include a 2 megapixel camera, support for Verizon’s EV-DO 3G network for high-speed data, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP. V CAST Music Store, V CAST Video and ESPN MVP are also available, which makes it quite a feature packed slim clamshell.
The LG Chocolate 3 is planned to be available from Verizon Wireless in July, though there are no specific dates and pricing details available at the moment.
Verizon and LG Launch The LG Dare
Verizon and LG have both introduced the LG Dare today. This new phone comes with a full touchscreen user interface and a 3.2 megapixel camera. The photo editing tools allow users to play with their photos as well as upload their photos to popular social networking sites quickly.
The LG Dare supports Verizon's high-speed EV-DO 3G network in addition to the V CAST Music and VZ Navigator services. The touch screen user interface is very finger-friendly, and allows users to flick through their contact lists, much like everybody is trying to do now. The LG Dare also supports drag and drop interface for accessing users favorite contacts.
LG is launching 2 phones in emerging markets, namely the KM710 and the KM380. The KM710, which is an upated version of the LG KM500 adds features such as lighting effects for the indicator, solid speakers, GraceNote support and up to 30 hours of music playback.
The KM380 is a slim phone with MP3 playback, and uses a technology called “Restoration Technology” to repair the loss of quality from MP3 files. Both devices use the LG Sound Engine technology, which is supposed to boost sound quality.
Though there was some skepticism amongst initial rumors that the LG VX9700 would be making its way to Verizon Wireless, it seems that that skepticism is misplaced. Though there is no official word yet, but pictures of a Verizon branded LG VX9700 have surfaced on the internet, which seems to indicate that the rumors might be true.

LG Phones Get The Gold Treatment
For users who can never have enough gold in their devices, here’s something nice that should help satisfy their craving. Goldstriker, the experts in this kind of thing, are offering the LG KF600 and the KF750 Secret in 24 karat gold. It seems the easiest way to make something classy nowadays is to make it gold-plated.
The KF600 should be available for around $648, and the Secret at $1035.
O2 Launches The LG KF750 (LG Secret)
After Vodafone launched the LG KF750 (LG Secret), O2 has followed suit and officially launched the LG Secret for its subscribers as well. This is good news for all, as it increases the number of tariffs available, making it easier to find the best deal to suit users’ requirements.
To recap, here are some of the LG Secret’s features:

- DivX video recording at 120fps (Frames per Second)
- 11.8mm thin
- Photo editing features such as SmartLight, which automatically adjusts the picture’s light settings.
LG Electronics has just launched its mobile TV phone, the LG HB620T in the European market.
The HB620T includes a DVB-T digital TV receiver. DVB-T is what most people would regard as standard terrestrial digital TV signal, used in the UK for Freeview boxes and more or less everywhere else in Europe. Prior to this, most mobile phones which would receive a digital TV signal utilized DVB-H, which is a variation of the domestic DVB-T signal, but designed for mobile devices.
Other features of the HB620T include a 2 megapixel camera, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth, web browsing and multimedia playback.
LG Launches The LG KF510 Slim Slider In India
LG has just launched the LG KF510 as the first of three new models released in India. The KF510 is a slim slider phone, first announced at the 2008 Mobile World Congress back in February.
The KF510 has a metal frame, and is coated with a gradation paint in two shades, namely Stardust Dark Gray or Sunset Red.
Features of the LG KF510 include:

- Touch sensitive navigational keypad
- Slim design at only 10.9mm thin?
LG Prada Being Redeveloped
NTT DoCoMo will be busy redeveloping the LG Prada phone, targeting a June release in Japan. Interesting features will include a haptic feedback(force feedback, in simpler terms) for the full touch screen display, not to mention a 2 megapixel German-made Schneider-Kreuznach lens with auto-focus. Browsing the internet on the 3 inch touch screen should be a pleasant experience, thanks to the 7.2Mbps data speed.
Phones in Japan generally differ a lot from phones available to the rest of the world, so it remains to be seen whether this phone will be released to the rest of the world.
LG Unveils Mid Range Multimedia Phone
LG has recently unveiled it’s mid ranged multimedia fashion phone, the LG KP320. It comes with a 3 megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash. A spacious 90MB built in storage should provide adequate storage for most people, and in the event that extra storage is needed, the KP320 supports microSD memory cards, allowing the user to add more storage space as needed. SMS, MMS, EMS and E-Mail are supported as standard, as is Bluetooth.
